Galaxy Ring 2: an early release?
A recent echo from Korea is that indeed Samsung may be on its way on the launching of the sequel of its Galaxy Ring. Leaked on the Korean blogger platform and search engine Naver, this leak points towards the Galaxy Ring 2 being up for use “a little sooner than expected”.

A promising development
Samsung’s new Ring was launched in July this year. As noted in our review, this version does a particularly good job of arguing for the need to adopt the Smart Ring, which we awarded our editor’s choice to. It has made great strides to become one of the best smart rings that you will find on our list.

Leaked blogger Lanzuk commented that the expected changes the Galaxy Ring 2 will come with include thinner band, long battery life plus more features. While Lanzuk did not expound more on these new features, he had something to say on that in the post he wrote, and this is that sensor structure and measurements have been enhanced.

These changes will enable better health tracking features
We suppose that the Galaxy Ring 2 will have the enhanced health monitoring capabilities, which must be associated with the One UI 7 update coming early 2025. Samsung will probably also build other tracking features not related to health in it, too.

IPhone as Samsung did:
In the end of his blog, Lanzuk noted that Apple planning to launch and smart ring and smart glasses as well. There are news from surveys of the company Apple that it products a smart ring. The smart glasses might be an effort to launch a smart device other than the Vision Pro which seems not to have a niche. The release of both devices could be in the 2026 or possibly in the 2027 financial year.
