Surfshark tries something new with the Bypasser feature on iOS
being among the best VPN services, previously Surfshark released the news that their Bypasser function is now compatible with iOS. This is rather similar to such a feature as split tunneling, which enables the user to choose the sites that will not be controlled by the VPN.

An additional option for easier navigation
The Bypasser is added convenience in using the VPN more conveniently. One of the usual concerns with VPN is when a specific site won’t load or ‘connect through’ the VPN; the Bypasser comes in handy with it’s ability to ‘whitelist’ that particular website. This feature is also helpful for when you would like to go to your phone, the site that is popular with you or contains information protected by IP, for example, an online bank. This way for example you do not need to exit the VPN because this VPN guide will be closed.

What is meant by split tunneling and in what case could be required?
In split tunneling, it is possible for the computer or device user to forward his internet traffic through the VPN connection as well as a normal connection using his normal IP address. Of course, the primary motive behind VPN is to help you surf the internet anonymously and more securely. But for some its benefit could be the fact that the VPN conneection can be ‘switched off’. The sites and apps, you interact with daily may not be compatible with your VPN and so you have the inconvenience of turning your VPN on and off every time.

Currently, the only VPN existing for iOS is Surfshark.
While all of the VPNs we recommend have split tunneling in the Windows VPN apps and many of them also have this service in the Android VPN apps, only Surfshark have a similar feature to split tunneling on iOS.
