Google today announced the release date of the new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. The first phones to be packaged by Google’s first custom processor will be officially released later this month. Check out all the details below.

In an emailed statement, Google invited the specialized press to an online event on October 19 at 2:00 p.m. PDT. The launch comes months after Google itself unveiled first-hand some of the key features of the new handsets.
The date had already been leaked by an Australian carrier in mid-September. In addition to the long-awaited SoC Tensor, Google also highlighted the ui changes brought about with the Android 12 update and the new Material You in its advertising pieces.
