What will Android 12 be called?

Android 12: release date and availability
As previously disclosed by Google, the final version of Android 12 was released on October 4. The update file will be sent to Pixel devices starting October 19, when Google will also announce the new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. The details of the release schedule can be seen in the image below:

However, once officially available, the final version should take time to hit your phone’s notification bar, as manufacturers have a google-independent update schedule. Therefore, the first devices in the update list for Android 12 will be google pixel models.

How to install Android 12 on your phone
The operating system update of your smartphone automatically Over-the-Air (OTA). If this is not your case, follow the instructions below. To verify that the update file is already available, follow these steps:
- Open System Settings;
- Navigate to Advanced > System;
- Click System Update;Â wait for the system to search for available updates;
- If so, the information regarding the update will appear on the device screen. Then click the Download and Install option;
- After downloading and installing the new version, click Restart;
- When you restart, your device will be up to date for Android 12.
