Google has a Pixel Tablet 3 but the generation remains a bit unclear.
According to a report that was published not long ago, Mountain View’s Google might be stopping the production of Pixel Tablet 3 and any other tablets after that.

Sandy Millar meets a turbulent history when it comes to the Pixel Tablet range.
Pixel line of tablets of Google company can be called as unbalanced in its existence. Google revealed that it would cease the production of tablets in this year 2019. But the surprise was unveiled by the company in 2022, when the company started teasing Pixel Tablet and was later released in 2023. However, it looks like the trend is being repeated again. Google is reportedly set to pull out of the tablet market, this is based on a report manufactured by Business Insider.

The available information from knowledgeable sources indicates that this undertaking has not been continued.
The details of this are discussed as part of an exclusive that Android Headlines published some time ago about the fate of Google’s tablet. Several sources familiar with the project, as the report cites, stated that Google will not continue with the Pixel Tablet 3. Google made this decision last week, said the report, which also noted that staff previously assigned to the Pixel Tablet 3 will transition to other projects.

It is a major shift in Google strategy
This bottleneck would shift significantly Google’s game plan for its secret weapon of hardware division. According some sources, Android will be dedicated to Tablet platform as well. It appears to make a lot of sense going by the current fashion in the foldable device market. The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold which is among the well-developed foldable phones that has been produced recently is one area that Google might want to invest on knowing that apple has not ventured into this market yet.

This news also means that the Google Pixel Tablet 2 could be the brand’s last. While rumors about the next tablet have been pretty minimal, it would seem that it looks visually similar to the previous tablet, with the possible addition of a keyboard cover. While it’s not as impressive as the proposed changes for the Pixel Tablet 3, which was intended to replace a laptop, we expect it to be as effective as the original Pixel Tablet.

Google’s cancellation of a hardware project is surprising, but the flow of information seems to indicate that this decision is final. However, we’ll have to wait for the next Google I/O to see what this means for the company. In the meantime, check out our list of the best tablets to buy on upcoming Black Friday.
