Even though it has already been shown by Google, the Pixel 6 line continues without a confirmation of when it will be officially presented or will hit stores. Two clues, however, may have revealed the possible start date of sales of the brand’s new generation of mobile phones.

The first reference was seen in a profile post @madebygoogle Instagram, showing different pixel line home screen customizations. The devices in question are already running Android 12, and you can identify them as the Pixel 6 both by the hashtag used and by the centralized location of the cutout for the selfie camera.

In three of the captures it is possible to notice the date “Tue 19”, or “Tuesday the 19th”, which made the specialized sites draw their calendars and magnifying glass to find the combination next October, and only on it.
Coincidence or not, Australian phone operator Telstra has opened a register for people interested in Google Pixel 6. And registration can be made until October 19 to compete for a prize.
As these are rumors based on information without (apparent) direct relationship, it is not possible to know whether the date refers to the model launch event, or else to the beginning of sales in the United States and Australia. Earlier rumors indicated that Google would announce the models on September 30, the combination of which also appears in the image above.
