A fall of discounts at Steam
As for Black Friday itself, it does not appear to be coming, but the holiday season sale continues with deep cuts on games and gaming hardware. If you’re a Steam user, you’ll be happy to learn that the Steam Fall Sale is still ongoing and will run until December 4 and one of the products up for a very intriguing discount is the Steam Deck LCD.

A Steam Deck on sale
It’s not the Steam Deck OLED but the 512GB model which now costs just $336.75 after applying a 25% discount of the list price. The Steam sale also contains a less capacious 64GB LCD version for less than $300 with 15% off, but it is entirely out of stock.

The best time to get a Steam Deck
Graphics credit By getting it this early, especially if you missed out on the last summer sale, this may be the best chance to own a Steam Deck. In June the price cut saw Steam offer the 64GB model for $298 while the 512GB version was being offered for $399. The 64GB and 512GB partners are no longer in production, meaning they will no longer be produced further once inventories have already been depleted. The retro-evoked 256GB LCD model is still out there for gamers who can’t commit to the pricier ones.

The couple of games you will get for free or will be cheaper for your new Steam Deck
If you are thinking of owning a Steam Deck, you are going to need games to run it. Steam’s Fall Sale also features great deals on games like Baldur’s Gate 3 for $47.99 and Total War: Total War: Warhammer III for $23.99, and Supergiant’s Hades II for $26.99, in Early Access. Steam also offers deep discounts on older games you may have planned to play, such as Double Fine’s Psychonauts 2 and Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey $6ea, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order $4, Cities Skylines for $3.
